1. The only hope for this team’s postseason chances is to make some noise in the division.

Philly’s got three straight division games on the schedule before they head west to get slaughtered by a Los Angeles Rams team that’s just as good as the Saints team that just took them to the woodshed.

With the Washington Redskins in a bit of a funk following the loss of their signal caller, veteran Alex Smith, everyone will now talk about the Redskins’ two-game lead over Philly in the NFC East. The Eagles can still win their division, and what happens in three straight NFC East games may go a long way in deciding what happens.

This team has five in-conference losses, and the only shot they have at a playoff berth is by winning their division. At this point, it’s hard to imagine them doing much outside of that. It’s hard to imagine them beating the Houston Texans just two days before Christmas.
