A look at who is missing:

Jason Peters, LT

Same old stuff here. Jason Peters has been dealing with torn biceps since early on in the season. He could’ve ended his season right when he was diagnosed, but he chose to keep rolling. So far, everything has held up for Peters for the most part. Hopefully, he doesn’t suffer anything long-term moving forward while he fights through this injury.

Michael Bennett, DE

Here’s a bit of surprise. Last week, Michael Bennett did leave the game early on to head to the locker room for a foot injury. Everything came back negative, and Bennett returned to action and didn’t look affected by his injury at all. If we had to guess, Bennett missing practice is nothing significant. Since he returned last week, we have to assume his absence on Thursday was precautionary.

Jalen Mills, CB

Jalen Mills went out with a foot injury a week before the bye week. It didn’t look like anything serious at first, but Mills hasn’t taken the field since. The Eagles were hoping to get Mills back in action soon, but it doesn’t look like he will be participating in any team activities this week.

Avonte Maddox, CB

When Avonte Maddox went out with a knee injury two weeks ago, everybody assumed the worst. A non-contact knee injury calls typically for a players season. Fortunately, that wasn’t the case for Maddox as he will return at some point. However, he still has some healing to do right now.

Jordan Hicks, LB

It wasn’t a matter of if Jordan Hicks gets injured in 2018 – It was a matter of when he does. It’s unfortunate, but that’s just been the story of his career. After losing Hicks for the rest of the season halfway through last year, Hicks is on pace to miss his second game in 2018. His status for Monday night seems doubtful already, and Doug Pederson didn’t sound too optimistic about Hicks’ returning soon.
