Is a loss brewing in LA-LA Land?

This is the first time Philly has returned to the LA Memorial Coliseum since the day the franchise changed forever and their quarterback, Carson Wentz got injured. It wasn’t a total nightmare as the Eagles clinched the NFC East title.

The Eagles will need to bring their A-game to compete with the 11-1 Rams who have already secured the NFC West crown.

Led by quarterback Jared Goff and running back Todd Gurley, the explosive Rams offense is averaging nearly 35 points a game and is ranked in the top five of almost every offensive category.

Defensively, the Rams are led by arguably the best defensive tackle in the league, Aaron Donald. He leads the league in sacks with 16.5 through 12 games. Donald is not only a ferocious player, but he’s also shown that he’s pretty clutch as well. 12 of his sacks have come in the second half while 7.5 of those have been in the fourth quarter..

Nothing about this game screams that it will be competitive. Unfortunately, this contest figures to look less like the one from a season ago and more like this season’s Week 11 matchup where the Eagles got straight up manhandled by the Saints.

Go ahead, and pencil this one in as a loss.
