Kamu Grugier-Hill, LB

I really didn’t want to do this, but I felt it was necessary. This week, Eagles linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill decided to talk some smack about the Cowboys and their recent history of choking. The fan base was split on the idea of Grugier-Hill firing up the rivalry, and the Eagles coaching staff was not very pleased with Grugier-Hill issuing Dallas some bulletin board material.

No matter where you stand though, as an Eagles fan, you must have Kamu’s back. Talking smack is only worth it if you can back it up. Now, Grugier-Hill has to back it up not only for himself but for the sake of his team. The Eagles need to do a better job on defense this time around. Especially against the run.

The Eagles linebackers need to shed off of blockers better and put a stop to Ezekiel Elliott before things get ugly like the last time. There’s no telling how many opportunities Grugier-Hill is going to get to make a play on Sunday. But if a pick-six ball comes his way, there are no excuses. He needs to make the play, and so does everybody else.
