3 Philadelphia Eagles make NFL’s Pro Bowl roster
The votes have been tallied. The announcement’s been made, and three Philadelphia Eagles have made the NFL’s Pro Bowl roster.
Though the NFL‘s Pro Bowl has long been an event that many of you have stopped watching, it’s always been cool to look at the all-star roster and see which members of your favorite team made the cut. On December 18th, said roster was announced, and three Philadelphia Eagles were on it.
Congratulations are in order for defensive tackle Fletcher Cox, tight end Zach Ertz and offensive guard Brandon Brooks.
Take a look:
Let’s hand out a few kudos.

For Cox, this is his fourth straight Pro Bowl nod. For Zach Ertz, it’s his second nod in two seasons. Brooks is no stranger to NFL voters either. This marks the second straight time that the fans have voted him onto the roster.
Neither of these guys played in the game a season ago as they had to prepare for a more important game. Players participating in the Super Bowl are given a pass as they prepare to play on the biggest stage in all of sports. Their spots are filled by alternates.
Unfortunately for Eagles fans, it may not play out that way this season. Though ‘The Birds’ are still alive statistically, a lot has to happen for them to make the postseason tournament. Nothing is impossible. That’s been proven after a valiant effort a few days ago in Los Angeles, bur Philly needs to win out, and then they’ll need a little help.
In the meantime, let’s take a few moments and congratulate three Eagles on being voted as being three of the league’s best.
