12 Extra quarters

With a win on Sunday against the hated Washington Redskins and, hopefully, a Chicago Bears win over the Minnesota Vikings, the Philadelphia Eagles will find their way into the 2019 NFL Playoffs.

There won’t be a first-round bye this time around, so if Philly is going to make another magical run, they’ll need to do it the hard way. They’ll need to play 12 quarters on the road to reach the Super Bowl. Don’t give up hope yet boys and girls. This one may be a long way from being over.

11 Men on defense (and on offense)

The bodies have piled up, seemingly over and over again, this season. The defense looks nothing like we thought it would at the beginning of the 2018 campaign. Neither does the offense, but they’ve fought on.

Now, we need everybody on both sides of the ball, both the familiar faces and the guys we’re still getting to know, to reach down and dig a little deeper.

Based on what we’ve seen over the last two weeks, there’s no reason to think they won’t.
