Tyrod Taylor

Just a season ago, Tyrod Taylor was the face of the Buffalo Bills. Although he under-achieved for the most part, Taylor was given a few years to prove that he could be a franchise quarterback. It took a while, but the Bills eventually decided that enough was enough. They traded Taylor as soon as they figured they could snag a quarterback in the draft, and Josh Allen happened.

Taylor went to the Cleveland Browns where he was handed the keys to the offense right away. Even with the number one-overall pick on the roster, Taylor remained the starter for the first couple of weeks. It didn’t take long for Taylor to lose to Baker Mayfield though.

Now, Taylor is in search of a new team and probably knows his role as a backup. As he has similar playing styles to a healthy Wentz with mobility, Taylor makes a lot of sense. Also, it’s sort of a bonus that Taylor actually wanted to play for the Eagles a few years back before the Bills gave him a grand opportunity. Maybe he’s willing to come in and play for cheap to back up Wentz.
