Le’Veon Bell

Age: 27

Last Team: Pittsburgh Steelers

Obviously, former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell is the best back available. I wouldn’t even limit to just calling him a running back. He’s a running back, wide receiver and an excellent blocker all mixed in one. Unfortunately, there are two reasons why the Eagles would shy away from Bell.

One reason is that he wants a TON of guaranteed money. Seeing as though Bell demands a lot from a position where the Eagles tend to neglect when it comes to money, it seems highly unlikely that a guy like Bell makes them change their minds in a sense. The second reason would be that Bell needs a backfield to himself, while the Eagles run an unpredictable rotation.

I can see it now; the Eagles sign Le’Veon Bell and somehow Corey Clement and Wendell Smallwood out-carry him because “that was just the flow of the game.” Do we honestly trust the Eagles to spend $50 million on a guy just so Duce Staley can completely avoid him with the rotations for whatever reason? It’s pointless. Le’Veon Bell to Philly is a pipe dream. But hey, we’ll leave the door open to the opportunity.
