Case Keenum is coming to Washington

Since Alex Smith is out for the year, the Redskins had to figure out what they are going to do at quarterback for 2019. At the NFL Combine, the Redskins front office told everybody that Colt McCoy is the man for the job. Considering his lack of experience, and the idea of him coming off of a season-ending injury, it’s pretty apparent that the Redskins need a ‘Plan B’ just in case McCoy doesn’t work out. So they decided to make a trade.

After a failed season in Denver, it looks like Case Keenum is going to join the NFC East. For Eagles fans, this is exciting news. We might not have seen Case Keenum in orange with the Broncos, but we sure saw just how well he played against the Eagles while he was with the Minnesota Vikings. In case you don’t remember, let me refresh your minds.

Keenum drops back, gets his arm hit as he makes a throw, and just like that, former Eagles’ cornerback Patrick Robinson picks it off and takes it in for six. 38-7, NFC Champions, you catch my drift. Keenum choked against the Birds. So this is excellent news.
