1. Defensive Line Remains a Priority

Do you want the Eagles to prioritize drafting a running back? Or how about a linebacker? Maybe a corner? Well, if you are buying into the many mock drafts going around and assuming that everything is cake up front for the defense, think again. The Eagles are going to stick to their strategy of building in the trenches and filling out the rest as they can.

I wouldn’t bank on a defensive lineman being the No. 25 pick, but it’s a guarantee at this point a defensive tackle, or a defensive end gets selected within the first two rounds. And who knows, with three picks within those rounds, don’t be surprised to see the Eagles snag one of each. Once again, Douglas and Roseman highlighted the star power in this draft when it comes to a defensive lineman. We can assume it’s just them blowing smoke, but by now we should know how much the Eagles love loading up the trenches on defense.
