7. Sidney Jones

Does this one really need to be explained? In 2019, Jones needs to prove for once and for all that he’s deserving of the second-round selection the Eagles spent on him. Believe it or not, the clock is ticking, whether fair or unfair, for a young man who’s truthfully beginning what, sort of, amounts to be his sophomore season.

8. Derek Barnett

Barnett was taken midway through the first round in 2017, and immediately made people start mentioning him and Reggie White in the same sentence. Why? Barnett broke White’s record for sacks at Tennessee, and they both are associated with a common franchise.

We’ve seen signs of how good Barnett could be on occasion, but with Chris Long retired, Brandon Graham aging and Vinny Curry back on the roster, a man who’s shown a tendency to be inconsistent, Barnett is now one of the guys this defense will lean on.
