Philadelphia Eagles WR DeSean Jackson has a message for Skip Bayless
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson showed that he’s just as fiery as he always was in a response to an insult from Skip Bayless on FS1’s Undisputed.
Let’s get something straight and do so immediately. Outside of some nonsense from former Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly, you’d be hard pressed to find someone who knows DeSean Jackson and doesn’t love him. Who knows who said it, but it was once said that the best judge of who someone is has to be the people who spend time around them.
Ask yourself a question. Have you ever heard a coach or teammate say anything bad about ‘D Jax”?
Since his return to Philly, all we’ve heard is glowing reports about Jackson, and it doesn’t hurt that there’s still some tread on the tire. Recently, we found something out though. We may be getting to know a more mature version of ’10’ (he turned 32 on December 1st of last year), but you can best believe, if you disrespect him, he can still be fiery.
We saw an example of both a teammate’s love (or in this case a former teammate) and that classic Jackson passion when Carolina Panthers defensive tackle Gerald McCoy joined FS1’s Skip and Shannon Undisputed.
McCoy was a teammate of Jackson’s with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and during his conversation with Skip Bayless, he continued his support of his friend. Bayless, as he always does, tried to throw a few shots, but McCoy wouldn’t participate.
Apparently, word of some of Bayless’ comments found their way to Jackson’s ears, and ’10’ was game for a response. His answer came courtesy of a post on his Instagram account. It wasn’t pretty. As a matter of fact, we’ll let you dig that one up on your own.
Let’s just put it this way. In a world where we always complain about bulletin board material and firing up the competition, Bayless may have forced Jackson to circle two games on the calendar, the ones where the Eagles meet Bayless’ beloved Dallas Cowboys.
That’s good news for Eagles fans and bad news for anyone who follows Jerry Jones‘ boys.
