3. Stefen Wisniewski, OG

Two years ago, Stefen Wisniewski took over for a struggling Isaac Seumalo at left guard. Last year, the tables turned, and Wisniewski was eventually benched once again for Seumalo. The Eagles ended up getting rid of Wisniewski during the offseason, and it seemed like the guard/center’s days in Philadelphia were going to be left behind.

Eventually, Philly realized they needed some more depth in the trenches though. And at that point, why not bring back a veteran with experience, who played for the Eagles? So Howie Roseman made the call and got Wisniewski back on the Eagles for a cheaper, one-year deal.

Wisniewski is not only practicing on the right side at guard now, but he’s also snagging some reps as a backup center as well. It’s been a while since ‘Wiz’ has played there, so it shouldn’t come off as a surprise that the guy is rusty. However, being that he’s a seasoned veteran up front, he doesn’t have much wiggle room for mistakes. He’s on the chopping block for now.
