74. Mike Pitts

Mike Pitts racked up 397 total tackles and 19.5 sacks in 75 games as an Eagle. That includes 59 starts. Case closed.

73. Derrick Burgess

Maybe this spot belongs to the versatile Isaac Seumalo one day, but for now, Derrick Burgess is the most deserving. In two stints with the Eagles, he racked up 15 starts over the course of a 30-game run and piled up 57 total tackles with 8.5 sacks.

72. Tra Thomas

Tra Thomas made three Pro Bowls (2001, 2002, 2004) over the course of an 11-year run with the Eagles that ran from 1998 to 2008. He’s also a member of the Philadelphia Eagles’ 75th Anniversary Team.

71. Jason Peters

This one’s obvious. Jason Peters, in all likelihood, is the Philadelphia Eagles’ next inductee into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He’s been given nine Pro Bowl nods (2007–2011 and 2013–2016), two First-team All-Pro nods (2011, 2013), and four Second-team All-Pro nods (2007, 2008, 2010, 2014). One day, he’ll also be voted into the Eagles’ Hall of Fame.

70. Al Wistert

Al Wistert is a two-time NFL champion (1948, 1949), a six-time First-team All-Pro (1944–1949), and a two-time Second-team All-Pro (1950, 1951). He’s also a member of the NFL 1940s All-Decade Team and the Eagles Hall of Fame. No one will ever wear the number 70 again thanks to him.
