Everybody get ready to meet this year’s Corey Graham. Over the last two years, the Eagles relied on veteran safety Corey Graham to take on rotational reps behind Rodney McLeod. Graham had his shining moments over his two years in Philly, but last season wasn’t so promising.

It was apparent Graham wasn’t going to stick around for long. Therefore, the Eagles had to go out and find a replacement. Fortunately, veteran safety Andrew Sendejo was available. By no means do we believe Sendejo cannot still be productive, but his injury issues are concerning.

So far, he’s stayed healthy though. And at this point, he’s clearly ahead of the others on the depth chart for that third spot. Players such as Blake Countess and Tre Sullivan are attempting to make a case for that position, but it’s clear that Sendejo is currently in the lead from his training camp production and his live showing in the first game of the preseason.
