Week 17:

Redskins at Cowboys, Sunday, December 29th at 1 PM EST, AT&T Stadium

Again, the record never matters here or with any other interdivisional clash. The Dallas Cowboys will earn a playoff berth, but it will take them all 16 games to earn it. The Redskins, at this point, will have learned that they have nothing to play for except one thing, wrecking the season of what’s, arguably, the team that they hate the most.

The Redskins will frustrate ‘Jerry’s boys’, but in the end, the Cowboys will again break the hearts of their rivals. Expect Dallas to give one of their best efforts of the season and pull away from Washington in the second half. Dallas comes out on top. They equal Philly’s divisional record of 5-1, but they’ll finish two games behind Philly at 10-6.

Philly wins the NFC East. Dallas makes the playoffs, but they do so as a Wildcard team.

Prediction: Cowboys 27, Redskins 16

Projected team records: Eagles (12-4), Cowboys (10-6), Redskins (5-11), Giants (6-10)

Projected divisional records: Eagles (5-1), Cowboys (5-1), Redskins (1-5), Giants (1-5)
