1. Stefen Wisniewski, C/G

It’s tough to see how far Stefen Wisniewski has come. While that saying typically applies to a player who has improved over time, Wisniewski has seemingly done the opposite. This guy went from being a starting left guard on a Super Bowl-winning team, to having trouble cracking the final 53-man roster as a backup center.

Offensive line depth will be critical for the Eagles this year, as they dealt with a ton of nagging injuries to their big men in 2018. However, if Wisniewski can’t get something as simple as snapping the football down — then why would the Eagles keep him around? He has to show improvements playing the center position, and he hasn’t done that yet.

2. Clayton Thorson, QB

The timing for thunder and lighting during week three couldn’t have been worse for Eagles rookie quarterback, Clayton Thorson. As the Eagles wrapped up the third quarter, they were finished with seeing both, Cody Kessler and Josh McCown on the night.

That meant that it was time for Thorson to come in and try to make his argument for potentially sticking around. With the signing of McCown, and Nate Sudfeld still on board, there’s pretty much no way the Eagles hold onto Thorson as a fourth quarterback. He will surely make the practice squad this season, but an impressive performance on Thursday could get him claimed on the waivers. First, he has to show he has really improved in late August, though.
