Running Back (4)

Jordan Howard, Miles Sanders, Corey Clement, Darren Sproles

The Eagles have almost had a complete overhauled at their running back position. Each one brings their own set of unique talents to the offense, and to opposing defenses, the Eagles’ running backs must look like the four horsemen of the apocalypse. The biggest question is what happened with Josh Adams?

Their leading rusher from a season ago is in danger of being left off of the roster in 2019.

Wide Receiver (5)

Alshon Jeffery, Desean Jackson, Nelson Agholor, JJ Arcega-Whiteside, Mack Hollins
DeSean Jackson may very well be Philly’s most important offseason acquisition. His ability to stretch the opposing defense creates space for everyone else on the offense.

There’s just one question. Should he get hurt, does anyone else have the speed and talent to take over at his position? Greg Ward Jr. actually has the best 40-yard dash time as he clocked a 4.36, but unfortunately for him, again, he won’t be able to showcase that in the regular season.

Tight End (3)

Zach Ertz, Dallas GoedertJoshua Perkins

Between Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert, the Eagles have the best tight end duo in the league. Philadelphia is going to wreak havoc in 12 personnel. That will keep defenses on their heels.

The Eagles probably keep Joshua Perkins over Alex Ellis. simply because Ellis joined the team too late, but make no mistake, during his time here, you could argue that Ellis has been the better player on offense and special teams. He may have the highest ceiling, and you shouldn’t be surprised if he takes the third tight end spot and never gives it back.
