Indianapolis Colts at Los Angeles Chargers (Upset Alert)

Venue: Dignity Health Sports Park, Carson, California

Prediction: Don’t give up on the Indianapolis Colts yet. They’ve got a great coach (that Eagles fans are familiar with) in Frank Reich. They’ve got a great offensive line. They’ve got a more than capable replacement for the retires Andrew Luck in Jacoby Brissett.

Early-season games are the easiest to produce an upset win in, and here, the Colts get one. The Los Angeles Chargers go down in game one.

Final score: Colts 23, Chargers 20

Cincinnati Bengals at Seattle Seahawks

Venue: CenturyLink Field, Seattle, Washington

Prediction: Let’s put this all together. The Seattle Seahawks have one of the best rosters in all of football. They’ve got Russell Wilson, and don’t look now but he’s got weapons now. Seattle is young, hungry, and some think they have a shot at making the Super Bowl.

Last year, they went 10-6, and that was supposed to be a ‘down year’. They bounce back in 2019, starting with a win in Week 1 over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Final score: Cincinnati 17, Seahawks 27
