Welcome back, DeSean Jackson! For the first time since 2013, DeSean Jackson is going to run onto Lincoln Financial Field sporting a midnight green Philadelphia Eagles jersey. For the entire offseason, it didn’t feel real. And to this day, we’re still shocked that he’s back.

This week though, the re-introduction takes place, finally. The Eagles haven’t had a speedy wideout like DeSean Jackson since… DeSean Jackson! It’s definitely an exciting time for the Eagles as Jackson brings back that on-field swagger and excitement.

Even if Jackson doesn’t go yard at all against another one of his former teams, he will still be such a distraction and open up the field for other wideouts and even the ground game. The Redskins know Jackson very well, and they realize he can and will be a handful for them.

A deep ball from Wentz to Jackson would be fantastic, but regardless of whether they connect on a score or not, we are sure to see a significant impact with Jackson’s presence on the field alone.
