5. Brandon Graham, DE

Last season wasn’t one of Brandon Graham’s best. Due to having an offseason procedure done on his ankle for a sprain, Graham had trouble fully recovering. Without really any practice reps in the offseason, Graham jumped right into week one last season as he was cleared to play.

He was a bit off, and Graham acknowledged that. But after going into the 2019 offseason healthy, the veteran pass rusher is feeling a lot better this time around. It was unclear if Graham was going to make back to Philly or not after failing to get a new contract done during his final year.

Although Graham was expecting to sign elsewhere as well, the Eagles couldn’t imagine their defensive line moving on without Graham. Not while he’s still got it at least. Therefore, Graham and the Eagles agreed to a three-year deal, keeping him in Philly once again.

Now, he gets to earn that money starting with this week against the Redskins. Considering that the Eagles edge depth looks a lot different this season, it will be up to Graham to catch fire early and lead by example. The Eagles need to get more pressure on the passers this year.
