4. Can anyone of these young linebackers emerge?
We know what Nigel Bradham is capable of. We know the Eagles wanted to increase Kamu Grugier-Hill‘s role, but he’s hurt and not playing in this one. L.J. Fort has shown promise when he’s been given a chance. T.J Edwards was an undrafted free agent that many hoped would make the team, and he did.
Then, there’s Nathan Gerry. He’s got 28 tackles and an interception on his resume, but the Eagles are really hoping he pops in his third season. He was a fifth-round selection in 2017, and this team and his coaches really want him to keep advancing.
Zach Brown came over from the Redskins, and though we know he can play, he and the rest of this linebacker corps, outside of Bradham, create quite an intriguing amount of questions. All of these guys could become big stars in Jim Schwartz’s scheme. The question is will they?
