Devonta Freeman, running back

Outside of the touchdown catch during the divisional playoffs of the Eagles’ Super Bowl run, Devonta Freeman hasn’t caused Eagles fans a ton of heartache. He’s still one of the best talents in the NFL at running back though, and if the Falcons can get him the ball in space (he’s a very talented receiver), he could put some pressure on the Eagles’ linebackers.

He may not be a threat to pound the Eagles with the running game, but he could be good for a big play or two.

Takkarist McKinley, defensive end

Call this crazy or not, but someone with the name Takkarist McKinley just sounds like he’d be a game wrecker or someone you hope and pray stays off of your quarterback. That’s exactly how he earned First-team All-Pac-12 honors in 2016.

Atlanta took him 26th overall in 2017’s NFL Draft, and it’s been more of the same at the pro level. 32 career games with nine starts have followed, and he’s contributed 45 total tackles to their cause. 32 of those have been of the solo variety, and 15 have resulted in a loss.

He may be due for a breakout season. Keep an eye on Philly’s offensive line as it will be their job to keep him off of Carson Wentz.
