5. Zach Ertz, TE

Last week, for the first time in a long time, we didn’t see a ton of Zach Ertz. To many, it was a breath of fresh air considering the narrative from last season. “Carson Wentz throws to Ertz too much!” Ertz reeled in five catches for 54 yards last week for one of his more quiet games.

Don’t expect that to become a trend though. The Eagles showed their cards last week and proved they have a plethora of weapons in the passing game. You better believe that secondaries are going to put even more focus on DeSean Jackson as they try to eliminate the deep ball.

Then, Alshon Jeffery will garner a lot of attention as well after scoring twice too. This week, we should expect to see the Falcons secondary with their hands full trying to cover Eagles’ wideouts leaving Zach Ertz more open to run free underneath. The hope is that Wentz continues to let it fly, but we won’t hate it if Ertz had a big day though. Whatever gets the job done will be satisfying.
