Carolina Panthers at Arizona Cardinals

Venue and weather: State Farm Stadium, Partly Sunny, 95°F at kickoff

Prediction: It felt like this would be a Carolina Panthers loss when we thought Cam Newton might actually play. He won’t. Carolina has no shot in this one. That is, unless Kyler Murray falls apart completely and gives the game away.

There are too many veterans on this team for that to happen. The ‘Air Raid’ takes flight on Sunday and it all comes together for the Arizona Cardinals as the use a bewildered Panthers team for target practice.

Final Score: Panthers 10, Cards 24

New York Giants at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Venue and weather: Raymond James Stadium, Sunny, 90°F at kickoff

Prediction: What if the announcement of Daniel Jones‘ first career start infused some energy into an 0-2 New York Giants team, and they rode that to a road victory in Week 3? It sounds nice. It’s just doubtful that we’ll see that happen.

Bruce Arians is too good of a coach, and last week, he got the best out of Jameis Winston. On Sunday, he’ll do that again. Dare we say the first-place Tampa Bay Buccaneers? It’s definitely possible. Final Score: Giants 17, Bucs 24
