1. Can the Eagles finally get off to a quick start?
This one’s followed us for a while. Carson Wentz spoiled us so much during the first drive of his career (one that led to a touchdown) and in 2017 that we’ve all forgotten that ineffective offense is a part of the NFL game.
Eight full quarters through two games has given us a little over three phenomenal quarters of excellent football. Now, this team just needs to take those moments where we’ve seen how good they can be and extrapolate that over four full quarters.
2. How much of a jump will we see in JJ Arcega-Whiteside from Week 1 until now?
Doug Pederson may have set the bar too high for JJ Arcega-Whiteside. Once we heard ‘well-oiled machines’ and ‘plug them in and let them go’, we assumed having Arcega-Whiteside would, at times, be like having a younger Alshon Jeffery on the field while still being allowed to enjoy the original.
So far, the student has struggled to find his role, but with the possibility of Jeffery being out for this one, quite a few people have been thinking. Could necessity become the mother of the invention one more time in Philly? Could we be treated to a breakout game?
