9. Will Jim Schwartz continue to blitz?

Everyone’s clamored for Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz to employ the blitz, and versus the Falcons in Week 2, everyone who had asked got their wish. There’s an old saying though. If you live by the blitz, you’ll, sometimes, die by one, and Atlanta would deliver a gut punch on a fourth-down screen pass to Julio Jones that went for a long touchdown catch and run.

No one was bothered because everyone knows that’s the risk you take when you send extra guys. Seeing those rushers felt great though, didn’t it? It kind of reminds you of when Jim Johnson was on the sideline, didn’t it?

Now, there’s only one question. Will Schwartz continue to bring pressure or has he been turned off by that Jones touchdown? Let’s hope it’s the former if the front four can’t get any pressure. Everyone’s sick of that ‘picket fence’ idea.
