Here’s what many of you are probably asking yourselves. How can a good team win all three of their first three games and fall from fourth to ninth in an NFL Power Ranking?

Well, the answer to that one is actually quite simple. That team must first beat the New York Giants. Then, that team must beat the Washington Redskins, and after that, said team must win against an inferior Miami Dolphins team. Keep in mind the fact that none of us are sure that the Dolphins are interested in playing football.

Both of these statements can be true. The Cowboys must be given credit for winning all of their games, and you also can’t ignore the level of talent the teams they’ve played against have displayed.

Yes, the Cowboys must be given some credit for winning. All you can do is play the team in front of you, but they land at nine for one reason. It’s hard to determine if they could actually beat the eight teams who are ranked ahead of them.
