42. . 3-0. Previous: . San Francisco 49ers. 10. team

Here’s a pop quiz. There’s only one team in the NFL with both a top-five defense and a top-five offense. Can you name that team? Don’t look now, but the San Francisco 49ers are making some waves on the West Coast.

We’re all a long way from saying that this team is ready to challenge the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams and be a consistent threat to both teams, but here’s a couple of very fair statements after using the eyeball test.

Jimmy Garrapolo has a chance to be very good in this division. Kyle Shanahan is every bit the offensive genius that we’ve all said he is. This 49ers team is young, but they could become a very good team and do so very quickly.

In conclusion: Where are the Eagles?

The rest of our top 15 looks like this: Seattle Seahawks (11), Buffalo Bills (12) Los Angeles Chargers (13), Indianapolis Colts (14), Philadelphia Eagles (15).

The Eagles are injured, and they’re staggering. As of now, they’re a middle of the pack team. Can you honestly say that they’ll beat the Packers on Thursday?
