New England Patriots (3 – 0) at Buffalo Bills (3 – 0)

Venue and weather: New Era Field, Sunny, 63°F at kickoff

Prediction: Say it out loud, and just see how it sounds. The Buffalo Bills are 3-0. For the first time in a long while, they host the New England Patriots with first place in the AFC East on the line.

It’s a very nice story. Unfortunately for the home team, most of us already know how this one’s going to play out. The Pats are favored. Their coach, Bill Belichick, is, quite possibly, the best to ever do it at any level. No disrespect is intended to the likes of Vince Lombardi or Bill Walsh, but he is.

His quarterback is the greatest of all time at his position. That isn’t up for debate.

We’ve seen enough. The Bills are on their way, and Josh Allen is the real deal, but Buffalo isn’t equipped to win this type of game, not yet. Final Score: Patriots 34, Bills 13

Oakland Raiders (1 -2) at Indianapolis Colts (2 – 1)

Venue and weather: Lucas Oil Stadium, Partly Sunny, 81°F at kickoff

Prediction: Jacoby Brissett may never be Andrew Luck in the minds of some, but what else can he possibly do? He’s running the offense efficiently. He’s winning, and the Indianapolis Colts are above .500.

Their winning ways will continue at home as the Colts win by double digits over an Oakland Raiders team that seems to have no direction. Final Score: Raiders 17, Colts 27
