Carolina Panthers (1 -2 ) at Houston Texans (2 – 1)

Venue and weather: NRG Stadium, Light Rain, 86°F at kickoff

Prediction: Here’s something that you may not know if you don’t follow the Carolina Panthers. Their owner, David Tepper, isn’t married to Cam Newton, and you can best believe, after watching him go 0-8 in his last eight starts, this stretch of games with Kyle Allen at the helm is being used to determine whether or not it’s time to move on from the self-proclaimed ‘Superman’.

Allen’s next test is, again on the road against, perhaps, the AFC South’s best team, the Houston Texans. Allen will play well again, furthering his case for the starter’s role, but the Texans will get the win. Final Score: Panthers 24, Texans 31

Cleveland Browns (1 – 2) at Baltimore Ravens (2 – 1)

Venue and weather: M&T Bank Stadium, Partly Sunny, 85°F at kickoff

Prediction: This would be a fun rivalry to watch if it could ever get going. You’ve got the new Cleveland Browns against the old ones, better known as the Baltimore Ravens.

Has anybody seen how brutal the early part of the Browns’ schedule is? In Week 4, Cleveland travels to Baltimore, and you can best believe that we’re due for more of those somber press conferences from Freddie Kitchens and Baker MayfieldFinal Score: Browns 17, Ravens 31
