2. Orlando Scandrick, CB

Do you remember this guy, Orlando Scandrick? Not only was he a cornerback for the Dallas Cowboys and the Washington Redskins before, but he also spent the summer with the Eagles trying to crack the final roster. Obviously, we know he didn’t make the team.

Now he’s back for another attempt, though, as the Eagles have hit desperate times once again. Jalen Mills and Cre’Von LeBlanc still have some time before they can return. Ronald Darby and Avonte Maddox are ruled out this week. Sidney Jones is questionable, and may not play.

Scandrick is the most experienced cornerback currently healthy on the Eagles roster. We have confidence in Rasul Douglas, who has been the best Eagles cornerback, but we’re unsure of how Scandrick will play. The good news is that Scandrick has experience in the nickel and on the outside playing in Philly. So it will be interesting to see how the Eagles use him and how he does upon his return with the Birds.
