Injury: Hamstring

At this point in his career, Sidney Jones has proved that it’s almost impossible for him to stay healthy. As he came into the NFL already injured from an Achilles tear during the scouting process, the former second-round pick has never seemed to been able to shake the injury bug.

Last season, he missed a significant amount of time due to a hamstring injury. And this year, the same issue has come about. It’s a frustrating situation, and the fans are beginning to lose hope in Jones. They aren’t alone in that department, though.

Even Doug Pederson has expressed frustration in the situation. As Jones deals with discomfort, the Eagles head coach believes the third-year veteran needs to push through the pain like some of his teammates typically do. Jones is on pace to play this week, and we’ll see if the coach’s message got to the former Washington cornerback’s head.
