3. Carson Wentz, QB

Some may say that week two against the Atlanta Falcons was Carson Wentz’s worst game this season — but I believe last week looked even rougher. It’s unclear what was going on with the offense last week, but it needs to be fixed as soon as possible if the Eagles want to win on the road this week.

Against the Jets, the Eagles’ offense could afford to win off of only putting up 17 points — against Minnesota, that won’t be the case. The Eagles need to get back to playing how they did against Green Bay. Carson Wentz needs to be a lot sharper with his accuracy and become more efficient.

One issue this season with Wentz is that he continues to go for a home run play, rather than just simply checking the ball down and creating a rhythm within the offense. Holding on to the ball too long has created too many zero to negative plays for the Eagles. Right now, Wentz doesn’t have a reliable deep threat, so he shouldn’t continue searching for one because it’s not there.
