2. Will Kirk Cousins shred the Eagles again?

In eight career games versus the Philadelphia Eagles, Kirk Cousins is 5-3 with a 66 percent completion percentage. He’s thrown 17 touchdowns versus only five interceptions, and he has a career quarterback rating of 101.2 in those eight career games.

While some may argue that mark is more attributable to great coordinators and weak Eagles teams, the facts are the facts. The eyeball test would tell anyone that it’s a little more to the story than good timing. to be frank, Cousins has a history of shredding the Eagles’ secondary.

Here’s another issue. So far in 2019, the Eagles defense has shown a propensity to be taken advantage of by elite offensive weapons and, sometimes, guys who are just a tad above the ‘average or above average’ category. Just about everyone on the opposing offenses the Eagles have faced has been able to make plays. Guys who have struggled have also come to life.

The Vikings will field three elite talents on the offense side of the ball in Stefon Diggs, Adam Thielen, and Dalvin Cook. The Eagles issues on defense have been well documented.

Sidney Jones is expected to play, but can he and his defensive teammates limit a Vikings offense that only asks Cousins to be a game manager?

That will go a long way in deciding the outcome of this one.
