Ask yourself a question, and really think about the answer. You’re going to need to be serious about this, so turn off the television and sit in silence for a couple of seconds.

Ask yourself if the Dallas Cowboys, right now, are better than the New York Giants are. Seeing as how the Cowboys got all that they can handle versus the New York Jets and lost and the Giants just went toe to toe with a team who could realistically hoist the Lombardi Trophy at season’s end, is it safe to say that a Giants team that’s found their quarterback in Daniel Jones and is playing inspired football is a lot different than the same squad Dallas met in Week 1?

Okay, so now that you’re thinking, ask yourself this. Let’s make it simple. Just pretend these two teams met today, and you had to bet your life savings on the winner. Who would you pick?

Some of you probably selected New York without hesitation. Some of you may still feel that Dallas is the better team but ask yourselves one more question, and we’ll move along.

Doesn’t the fact that we all know that Dallas is supposed to be the better team mean that the fact that we’re not even supposed to be having this conversation means that New York deserves a tip of the cap?
