New Orleans Saints (5-1) versus Chicago Bears (3-2) (Upset Alert)

Venue and weather: Soldier Field, Sunny, 63°F at kickoff

Prediction: The Chicago Bears are slowly building another ‘Monster of the Midway’. They’re awesome on defense. They just can’t score consistently. This week, at historic Soldier Field, they do battle with a very good New Orleans Saints team. They’re stout on defense too, but unlike the Bears, their quarterback can play.

The Saints will win because they’re better on offense than the Bears are. Score: Saints 20, Bears 13

Baltimore Ravens (4-2) at Seattle Seahawks (5-1)

Venue and weather: CenturyLink Field, Light Rain, 53°F at kickoff

Prediction: Here’s a marquee game between two playmakers at the quarterback position. It was hard to believe that Lamar Jackson would maintain his torrid start for the duration of 16 games, and as expected he’s cooled off slightly. Meanwhile, there’s a couple of questions that have crept up around the NFL.

Who ticked off Russell Wilson, and has he taken the lead in the NFL’s MVP race? Look for him to continue his winning ways in front of the 12th man. The Baltimore Ravens fall to the Seattle Seahawks in this way. Score: Ravens 20, Seahawks 27
