7. Washington Redskins

From the outside looking in, it would seem like the Washington Redskins‘ plan is to find a new coach and bring Dwayne Haskins along, but this is the ‘Skins. Does anyone believe they really have a plan?

Here are a few that a new coaching regime may share. One, they could bring in a more experienced quarterback to appease an owner who really wants to win now while they groom Haskins. Second, they could get rid of Haskins altogether. In either case, in a league starving for quarterbacks, Newton is as good a prospect as any.

8. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Let’s just be honest, we’ve seen both the best and the worst of Jameis Winston, but he isn’t going to lead the Tampa Bay Buccaneers anywhere that they can’t go without him. Everyone knows what Bruce Arians can do with talent. We also know that he likes experienced quarterbacks.

Arians inherited Winston. He isn’t married to him. Don’t rule out Newton winding up with one of the Panthers’ rivals. Plus, doesn’t cam Newton versus the Panthers’ defense twice a year sound cool?
