2. The Patriots get the best of Philly in a trade.

It’s almost impossible to figure out what Roseman was thinking here. In 2018, Michael Bennett posted 34 tackles and nine sacks. 25 of those tackles were solo and 15 resulted in a loss of yardage.

Then, the Eagles had an idea, and that was this. Why not trade one of the team’s biggest producers on defense to the New England Patriots along with a seventh-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft for a fifth-round pick in 2020’s selection meeting? Just like that, the Pats improved, and the Eagles didn’t.

If you’re looking to make sense of this one, you’ll need to look elsewhere for help. This one made no sense when it happened. This one makes no sense now, especially when you consider the issues that Philly has had with their pass rush. Oh, and then there’s the other thing. Now, they get to try and keep him off of Their quarterback when ‘The Birds’ meet the Dallas Cowboys a few days before Christmas. Grade: D-
