Swap Jimmy Garoppolo with Carson Wentz.

Does anyone else feel like Kyle Shanahan is a younger and newer model of Sean Payton? Jimmy Garoppolo can play, but he isn’t Wentz. None of that matters when Kyle Shanahan is on the sideline though. Here’s a little NFL trivia for you if you’re a football fan.

What does the successful season that Garropolo is experiencing and Matt Ryan and Kirk Cousins‘ best seasons all have in common? All three of those quarterbacks had Kyle Shanahan in their ear. Shanahan’s pedigree is he was one of the best offensive coordinators in the game who’s the son of another offensive genius. He’s now the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers. He’s the quarterback whisperer. He’s the offensive genius that Sean McVay gets credited for being.

You put Carson Wentz on the Niners and give him a season with Shanahan. You give Wentz Deebo Samuel, Emmanuel Sanders, George Kittle, and Matt Breida as his offensive weapons. Can you picture it? Do you think the Niners are going nowhere with Wentz at the helm? If you do, you’re out of your mind.
