Philadelphia Eagles guard Brandon Brooks took some time to chat with the media in reference to his most recent bout with anxiety. Here’s a letter from a fan to tell him how much we appreciate him.

We’re all pulling for you, Brandon Brooks. We get on Doug Pederson a lot as Philadelphia Eagles fans, but he said something that we can all agree on recently. His words express so many of our thoughts toward you in a way that demonstrates how we all feel.

‘This is not a football issue with Brandon. This is a real-life issue that he has come out and publicly acknowledged and kind of shared his story’.

For most of us, these types of stories need to be heard, and for your decision to share a deeper part of yourself with us, we’d like to say thank you. Most times, guys are told to be tough. It’s probably worse for someone who plays a violent game, but we know how tough you are. Heck, who gets over an Achilles tear so quickly?

You’ve put yourself on the back burner so many times and busted your behind to help your team and give your fans some joy. All we ask now is you take your time and do something that makes you happy. Find some joy for yourself for a change.

You spend all of your time doing great things on the field so someone else can get the credit, and often, we only mention linemen when they do something wrong, Today, however, we want to celebrate you because you deserve it. We want to say thank you as fans.

Thank you for showing the courage to be open and honest. Thank you for all that you’ve done for this football team. Thank you because you showing everyone that true strength comes in seeking the help that they need will encourage someone else that they shouldn’t be ashamed to do the same thing.

Next. If you want the Eagles to trade Wentz, read this. dark

This will help someone else just like everything else you’ve done as a man and a football player. The Eagles aren’t going anywhere, and though they make us angry sometimes, as fans we love them. We have much love for you too. You take as much time as you need and be healthy. The greatest fans on Planet Earth and your team will be here when you get back.
