All it takes is one statement to start a firestorm. Cue the Odell Beckham Jr. to the Philadelphia Eagles rumors.

By now, you’ve become very familiar with how things go in the information and social media age. One statement that isn’t thought out or one wrong step, physical or verbal, and you’re the subject of a social media and news firestorm for weeks. It would be hard to find another team, outside of the Dallas Cowboys, that has seen its name in more headlines for the wrong reasons than the Philadelphia Eagles, and this is where these two ideas and concepts intersect.

Here comes another one of those add a star player to the Eagles roster theories.

By now, you’ve heard or read the comments that Odell Beckham Jr. made a statement, and that statement has some questioning whether or not he’s interested in being with the Cleveland Browns next season. If you missed them, here they are:

"I couldn’t tell you what’s going to happen. I couldn’t sit here and tell you whether I’m going to be here, want to be here, don’t want to be here. This is exactly where I’m at now and I wouldn’t rather be anywhere else. In the offseason, everything will figure itself out. I feel like I’ve been here before asking questions about the next team while I’m on a team, something that I just tune out for right now."

Though he clearly states that he wouldn’t rather be anywhere else, most of the national media focused on the first and last parts of that statement. Where are you at on this is you’re an Eagles fan? Let’s dig in shall we? This is going to be fun.
