3. Ben Cleveland, guard

In keeping with that interior of the offensive line idea, Ben Cleveland makes sense if the Eagles address other interests early and then, addresses the line later. He’s definitely an NFL-level talent, but he’s probably going to come off of draft boards around the third round or somewhere around the fifth.

4. Tyler Clark, DT, Georgia

Timmy Jernigan isn’t the Timmy Jernigan we remember from 2017 and may never be again. Malik Jackson missed the 2019 regular season, and who knows what he’ll be when he returns. Fletcher Cox is the Eagles’ best player when he’s at his best, but he needs help (and maybe a break).

Tyler Clark satisfies all of that if Philly is interested. he could provide some value in the 2020 draft’s later rounds.

5. J.R. Reed, safety

Reality must be setting in by now. Malcolm Jenkins is probably nearing the end of his career with Philly. J.R Reed is a big and physical safety who’s probably a day-two prospect. At six-foot-one and 194 pounds, it would be nice to see him roaming as part of the Eagles’ last line of defense.

Honorable mention: Tae Crowder, inside linebacker

Crowder registered 53 tackles (six resulted in a loss) to go along with two interceptions, three passes defended and even forced a fumble in 2018. Nigel Bradham has been filling the inside linebacker role, but his natural fit is on the outside. Tae Crowder helps a ton, especially when you consider the fact that Philly’s linebacker corps always seems to be in need of something.
