4. Zach Ertz

One can only imagine how different things would have been for Zach Ertz impact wise on offense for the Eagles in Miami if the star tight end weren’t dealing with a hamstring injury, but at least Week 14 will be a fresh start to redeem himself.

When healthy, Ertz has always been considered one of the top pass-catching tight ends in the NFL, and his presence as a reliable target on offense certainly makes Carson Wentz‘s job much easier to handle.

After only catching three passes for 24 yards against the Dolphins, a matchup with the Giants seems like the perfect opportunity for Ertz to return to his usual ways on offense, and put the Eagles in the best position possible to earn their sixth win of 2019.

The fact that Ertz saw double-digit targets in the previous three games before Miami shows how involved he normally is in the passing game. And even though most fantasy football owners have been disappointed with Ertz’s overall performance this year, they could still be pleased if the tight end finishes the year on a high note.

Individual matchups play a key role in fantasy football, and with all the struggles surrounding the Giants’ secondary, Ertz should have little trouble receiving his usual workload of double-digit targets.
