3. Alshon Jeffery

Previously losing Alshon Jeffery for a couple games due to an ankle injury was difficult for the Eagles to adjust to since the offense didn’t really see any receivers step up in a big way during his absence.

Just how bad did were things for Philadelphia’s offense in the two games Jeffery missed? All football fans need to do is look at the game film from the two losses to the Patriots and Seahawks in which the Eagles combined for 19 points to see how much Jeffery’s absence hurt the offense.

The good news for Philadelphia is one of the few positive factors from Sunday’s Week 13 loss to the Dolphins was watching Jeffery return in one of the strongest ways possible by catching nine passes for 137 yards to go along with a trip into the end zone.

Assuming Jeffery manages to pick right up where he left off on Monday, the Eagles wideout could be in for a similar performance against the Giants, which could obviously make plenty of fantasy football owners with the wideout on the roster quite happy.

Better yet, maybe Philadelphia will be lucky enough to see Jeffery record his first multi-touchdown game since all the way back on opening weekend.
