2. Carson Wentz

When will some of the Eagles fans who continue to criticize Wentz for the struggles on offense finally give the quarterback a break?

If anything, the fans criticizing Wentz should focus some of that energy on the front office for failing to bring on the extra help before the deadline, but that’s another discussion for a different day.

For now, the main focus for Wentz should be on making sure he follows up Sunday’s performance in Miami with another strong outing against the Giants.

Losing to the Dolphins was certainly frustrating for reasons that don’t need to be explained, but it was great to see Wentz throw multiple touchdown passes for the first time since all the way back in Week 6.

Once again, it should be reiterated that blaming Wentz is unfair since some of the frustrating factors on offense such as injuries or the team failing to bring on extra help are out of his control.

But after watching the Eagles quarterback complete three touchdown passes against the Dolphins, why shouldn’t fans feel confident in him doing the same on Monday night?

Plus, if certain players like Jeffery or Ertz are feeling healthier, this will only put Wentz in better position under center.
