Philadelphia Eagles scouting: 10 Players to watch in Big 12 Championship
By Dan Parzych
Denzel Mims, Wide Receiver
Without question, wide receiver is going to be one of the top priorities for Philadelphia once the draft gets underway, and if the team is looking for a touchdown machine, all they need to do is give Denzel Mims a look.
As impressive as it is to see Mims find the end zone 11 times so far in 2019, it’s even more amazing to consider that he’s caught 27 touchdown passes over the last three seasons.
Of course, just because Mims has found a way to be effective in the end zone for the Bears doesn’t necessarily guarantee he will see the same success at the NFL level, but also there’s a reason why he’s viewed as a top wideout entering the draft.
CeeDee Lamb
To keep the conversation going of top wide receivers in this year’s draft, the Eagles will have plenty of competition if the interest is there to draft CeeDee Lamb in April.
Rightfully so, Lamb seems like one of those receivers who is guaranteed to be selected in the first round, and will find a way to make an immediate impact on his new offense.
Time will tell when it comes to seeing whether this new offense turns out to be the Eagles, but if it is, Wentz will certainly be thrilled since this provides another reliable weapon to work with.
