The Philadelphia Eagles will need all hands on deck to be successful down the stretch. Unknowns must step up, and reserves will need to play like starters.

At this point, you have to ask if the Philadelphia Eagles can win four games in a row. They haven’t done it all season, but then again, they hadn’t reached this portion of their schedule either. Philly finally gets a game against their divisional rivals, the lowly New York Giants.

While that and playing Eli Manning, someone Philly’s normally taken the measure of, should make everyone smile and burst with confidence, it’s almost impossible to feel totally certain that this is a win. Why? Look no further than one of the most overused storylines of this past week.

How did the Eagles lose that game to the Miami Dolphins? A win in that one was supposed to be a certainty as well.

For most Eagles fans, they could have stored that game on their DVR. They could have had someone spoil the outcome for them, and they probably would have still would have gone home, turned on the game, and expected to have seen the Eagles win.

Well, there’s no point in crying over spilled milk. The Eagles and Dallas Cowboys are in a dogfight for a division crown that neither team seems to want to win. Here are four ‘Birds’ that may be role players, but they’ll need to play like starters down the stretch.
