4. Nathan Gerry

‘White Snake’ is more than just a popular rock band from the U.K. It’s also Nathan Gerry‘s nickname, one that he’s earned. One thing is certain. We’ve seen enough from Philly’s ‘White Snake’ to know that, with the proper coaching, he can be a great pro in this league.

We’ve seen flashes of brilliance. We’ve also seen him vanish for long stretches of game time. Over the course of these next four games, all of which are against divisional opponents, we need to see the guy that earned the nickname ‘White Snake’. It’s especially imperative with Kamu Grugier-Hill on the shelf.

Unfortunately, in the case of the ‘Flying Hawaiian’, we learned about his concussion later in the week, giving us yet another reason to ask questions about the Eagles medical staff and fuel the theory that Philly would be without him in Week 14.

Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz must put Gerry in a position to do some great things and be successful.
