7. Kamu Grugier-Hill, linebacker

Speaking of Kamu, it is important that he comes back sooner rather than later. Similar to Gerry, after primarily being a special teams player early in his career, he has developed into a starter at linebacker. Kamu is often in on big run stops as well collecting 4.5 tackles for loss despite missing time earlier in the season.

His impact may not be as obvious when he is in the game but when he is not on the field, the Eagles struggle. The lack of depth at the linebacker position has been an issue this season. Kamu is also still an impact player on special teams and has been one of Dave Fipp’s most notable standouts.

Watching Kamu play with so much passion and intensity fires up fans and his defensive teammates. He has quietly become one of the team’s leaders. He takes pride in what he does as a role player and wants to win for this team and this city. The ‘Birds’ need him back soon.
